The Mud Clan by Merche Llobera | @merchellobera Maasai Mara, Kenya
“What stayed with me most was the lioness’s gaze. Covered in mud after feeding on a buffalo that had become trapped in the mud while trying to escape, she stood alert and watchful while her cubs observed from behind. Her expression seemed to reflect the harsh realities of life in the wild and the role she plays in teaching the next generation to survive.”
