“I was shooting video this trip but had snuck an old Canon F-1 with a 300mm FD and a 50mm FD on the trip with me. I find it easy to get burned out shooting video, so a quick break to fire off a few stills on film keeps the creative juices flowing. This is a double exposure with a tight shot of the palms in the background with the 300mm lens, then I put the 50mm on and took a photo of Kian Martin in the tube before advancing the film to the next frame.”
